Delete Your Edwiso Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Edwiso account and the personal data associated with it. You can delete your account directly inside the Edwiso app, or by sending us a request by email. Both methods are described below.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)

1. Open the Edwiso app and sign in.
2. Go to Profile → Account Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm when prompted. Your account and associated personal data are then permanently deleted (subject to the limited retention noted below).

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email us from the address or phone number linked to your account and we will delete it for you:

Please include the phone number registered with your Edwiso account so we can verify the request. We action verified deletion requests within 30 days.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

• Your name, phone number, and profile details
• Your account identifiers and login credentials
• Your chat messages and conversation history
• Your Compass career-guidance consultations and roadmaps
• Your saved preferences, interests, and referral data

What data is retained, and for how long

We retain a limited set of records only where the law requires it or to protect against fraud and disputes:

• Payment and transaction records (for example, session purchases and wallet entries) are retained for up to 8 years to comply with Indian tax, accounting, and financial-record obligations, after which they are deleted. Card and bank details are never stored by Edwiso; they are handled by our payment processor.
• Aggregated, anonymised analytics that can no longer be linked to you may be retained to understand product usage.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. To start again you would need to create a new account.
